Good Things in Small Packages:
Sweet and Sensual Lelo Nea
by Faye Adamos
It arrived like a tiny party in a box, an intriguing small, dark case nestled in a starburst of raspberry excelsior. Inside the case, an elegant compact ergonomic bullet that fits perfectly into the palm of your hand and cups over your bud like it was made for your pleasure. Oh wait, it is made for your pleasure.
The Nea is small and subtle with a gentle buzz that is almost more soothing than arousing at first. That makes it a good first vibrator to introduce yourself or a partner to the pleasures of power-enhanced stimulation or a sweet addition to the well-appointed toy box. Its small size and quiet voice make it a good traveling companion as well as an exciting yet unobtrusive toy that does not drown out the romance and sensuality of lovemaking.
The modest size is good for working that sensitive and thrilling area around the tip of the clitoris to the top of the vagina or the perineum or for probing and massaging the outer edges of orifices. But it’s too small and not the right shape for satisfying penetration or even G-spot stimulation, so you’ll probably want to use it with a partner who brings something more substantial to the bedroom.
For more experienced vibe users and women who need stronger stimulation, however, the Lelo’s gyrations are probably too mild, especially for solo use. Another downside is that its two buttons are not labeled and you definitely have to read the manual to figure out how to turn it off.
